Message	My friend who is HUGE on phoenix gold and has only used those for years, has just finally switched to xtant. Xtant's line is AWESOME and they put out very clean power. NOW< as far as alpine subs... I'd say if you're going for clean soft bass with the potential of hitting hard, get boston subs. They have different lines but even the top of the line sub you're still not paying much. Good luck.
